It seems like it suddenly has got colder outside. Currently I wear my 1940's scarf a lot. It is such an unusual, elegant piece! The pleating adds a pretty detail. It is an easy pattern of my favorite type: just a combination of knit and purl stitches. The original pattern is for fingering weight wool. I used worsted weight and the same size needle which resulted in a more winter-proof item. For more pictures and the pattern click here!
